Newbridge Case Management Services

The Case Management Program is designed to provide older adults, age 60 and over, the support they need to live independently by identifying resources and coordinating supportive services.  Services are available on a walk-in basis at various locations and times.  See the Newbridge newsletter at https://newbridgemadison.org/newsletter/ .

Preschool Storytime

A happy blend of stories, fingerplays and songs that help preschool children ages 3-5 develop pre-reading skills like print and phonologic awareness, vocabulary, letter knowledge and narrative skills. Daycares, groups and siblings always welcome.

Galactic Goo! — Slime!

Tue., July 30 3:00pm-3:00pm, Sequoya Library, Tokay Blvd. at Midvale Blvd.

Join in at the Sequoya porch to create your own Galactic Goo slime putty at the library! Kids can choose one of three recipes to make and add stars, glitter, and other awesome ingredients. Marble Runs with Sylvie Rosenthal

Wed., July 31 6:00pm-7:30pm, Meadowridge Library Community Room A

Design and create your own marble run with plywood, nails, rubberbands, and more with guest Bubbler artist Sylvie Rosenthal. Practice your hammering and precision with kid sized, real tools to make your own intricate maze. Kid sized safety glasses and earplugs also provided. Friends of Sequoya Book Sale

Sat., Aug. 3, 9:00am-4:00pm, Westgate mall, next to TJMaxx

Thousands of books for sale each month. Most books are donations, some library withdrawals also for sale. Nonfiction titles are sorted by category for easy browsing. Fiction titles for all ages! CD and DVD selections as well. Bag sale (on selected items) starts at 1 PM.

News resource of the week

Much of the material for our newsletters is located in resources that are regularly available online, but our editors may not focus on items that you care about.  We used to list several, but that has begun to trigger an anti-spam response on some email servers, so now we list one or two each week.
